In July, one of our TikToks skyrocketed to over 900,000 views, with a repost on Facebook pulling in another 200,000 views. We nailed the timing on the right trend, and that momentum lifted our other content with several posts hitting 20k, 30k, and even 100k views. When I first started, I would have been thrilled just to break 10k on a single video.

So, could I do it again?

Absolutely. What makes Feather n’ Fin special is that “F n’ F” also stands for Fun n’ Family. The owners are dedicated to a positive, sustainable, and lively workplace, and my job was to capture that spirit online. When the audience can feel the energy of the team, the engagement naturally follows.
​
That’s why I’m confident I could replicate this success anywhere by finding the unique personality of a brand or team and bringing it to life through social media.
Shortly after becoming the Social Media Manager for Feather n' Fin, we were invited to join the Ally Challenge Small Business Campaign, where small businesses use social media to promote attendance to the Ally Challenge, which is a PGA Tour golf tournament along with a country concert. Three businesses with the most creative campaigns would be recognized and given special access to the tournament.

Out of 63 local businesses, Feather n' Fin was chosen for Most Creative Social Media Campaign
and we were given all-access media passes to the event as a major content opportunity.

Through Western Michigan University’s Broncos Lead program, I partnered with Sugar Sweet Bath & Body Treats to bring fresh energy to their Instagram and TikTok presence. This role gave me the chance to apply my Adobe Creative Suite skills in a real world setting with endless opportunities for experimenting, learning, and refining along the way. By the end of my time, I had strengthened both the brand’s online persona and my own creative confidence, setting a strong foundation for future opportunities.
Video Editing Position
- Edited 8 videos over one year, condensing 50+ hours of footage 15-60 minute segments.

- Achieved view counts ranging from 50,000 to 2 million per video.

- Gained proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic skills in After Effects.
